BREN Sponsored Idaho Gives Day Party

Boise River Enhancement Network (BREN) is sponsoring a pre-party for the 2019 Idaho Gives Day.  [Info on Idaho Gives Day HERE]. 

Representatives from Boise non-profits (including BVFF!) will be present to directly provide information about their organization to the public.  BVFF is a supporter of BREN, and has been asked to participate in this event.

The BREN event will include:

• dutch oven cooking demonstrations
• fly casting lessons and a casting contest
• bird watching 
• party refreshments
• Make an early Idaho Gives donation and you’ll be entered into a prize drawing.

WHERE:

Julia Davis Park Shelter #2. The shelter is adjacent to the Greenbelt between the Bandshell and Zoo Boise in the southwest portion of the park.  (See MAP)

May 1, 2019  5:30 PM to 8:00 PM

BVFF PARTICIPATION:

Please help me with this short (2 1/2 hour) event.  BVFF will have a presence as follows:

• A table/kiosk with information on BVFF and its activities
• Membership information
• Casting demonstration (bring rod/reel)
• Fly tying demonstration
• Casting instruction to interested attendees

Also...

• We will NOT be soliciting donations for BVFF during Idaho Gives
• We will have membership application available, but is not our main purpose in attendance at this event.

HELP NEEDED:

• Fly tyer [ 1 or 2 persons ]
• BVFF club info/membership, answer questions  [ 1 or 2 persons ]
• Casting demo/coaching [ 1 or 2 persons ]
