  • 14 Mar 2019
  • 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Elks Lodge 6608 W Fairview Ave.

The Idaho-Oregon Snake River Water Trail stretches from Three Island Crossing (ID) to Farewell Bend State Park (OR). The IOSRWT is a coalition of partners representing federal and Local government agencies, Non-Profit organisations, Private Businesses, and citizens with an interest in the Snake River that was formed in December 2009.

Canyon County Parks was awarded a National Park Service Rivers, Trails, and Conservation Assistance Program Grant to help a water trail along the Snake River in Idaho and Oregon with the goal of helping communities define and influence future river recreation through public planning processes and partnerships.

Laura Barbour is the Outdoor Recreation Planner for Canyon County Parks and serves as coordinator for the IOSRWT. In this presentation she will discuss the history and development of the water trail, current happenings, future directions, and ways to make the most of the trail and how to use it.
