The county project to replace the Kilpatrick Bridge at Silver Creek Preserve is proceeding.  The project is scheduled to start mid August, about August 17.

Concurrently, the lower area of the creek in the Preserve (The S Turns area) will undergo a dredging operation to remove accumulated silt, and improve water flow.  This was also done several years ago, and will help to keep water temperatures lower.

During this time the area of the S-Turns and Kilpatrick Pond will be closed to access.
