Event: DIY Alaska Float Trip Report
Description: 2 years ago BVFF had a "Alaska Do It Yourself Wilderness Fishing" presentation by Eric Elliot from Float Alaska. An Alaska wilderness float and fishing trip had always been on my bucket list so I got together with some fishing and rafting buddies and we started planning. Join us to hear about what it took to put the trip together, what it cost, and see some pictures from floating and fishing the Kisaralik river out of Bethel, Alaska.
The speaker is Troy Pearse, a long time BVFF member and avid steelhead fly fisherman who has done numerous float trips on Northwest Rivers like the MF Salmon. Troy will be tying some of the flies that worked on the trip.
